Rose @ AdventureInSavings shared her Rite Aid Trip with us. "So, I did 2 transactions at Rite Aid tonight and I spent almost nothing out of pocket!  Here's a quick breakdown of my shopping trip."

Transaction #1:

Earned $8 in +Up Rewards for Stayfree
Earned $6 in +Up Rewards for Cereals ($1 +Up Reward ea.)
Will submit for $7.99 Blink Rite Aid Single Check Rebate
Will submit for $4.79 Kellogg's Fiber Plus Cereal Rebate
After all rebates and +UP Rewards this transaction was a MONEYMAKER!  I spent only $3.42 out of pocket, got back $14 in +UP Rewards and I will get another $12.78 in mail-in rebates!!

Did you follow all that?  If so, keep reading...if not, please read it again or leave me a comment and I'll try to clear it up!

My second transaction didn't turn out like I hoped or planned.  Several readers have been getting (2) $1 +UP Rewards for the Hormel Compleats, making them FREE.... I did not get 2, so mine were not FREE :(, but I still did okay!

If I had know ahead of time, I would not have done this transaction (we'll eat the pasta for sure, but the Hormel Compleats were only on my list because I thought they'd be FREE), but oh well...maybe hubby can use these for lunch in a week or two when I'll be adjusting to new baby and his lunches for work might be sparse (hehe).

Transaction #2:
6 - Hormel Compleats, $1.99 each
4 - Barilla Pasta, $1.25 each
Total before coupons : $16.94

Used $14 +Up Rewards from transaction #1
Total after Rite Aid coupons:: Paid $2.94 + taxes...total $4.13!!

Earned $5 in +Up Rewards for Barilla
Earned $6 in +Up Rewards for Hormel (I expected $12)....oh well.

So... I got everything pictured above for only $7.55 out of pocket.  I also have $11 +UP Rewards for next time and $12.78 coming in rebates!!  WOW - this was a super fun trip!!
